2008 Nanotechnology Conference June 1st-5th Boston, MA

Thanks to the support of Barbara Price and Coast CCA, and Bonnie Roohk, Dean of the Math and Science Department at Golden West College, I had the great opportunity to be part of the 2008 Nanotechnology conference held in Boston, MA.  This conference was like no other conference I have attended in the past.  I am a microbiologist; therefore, I was very excited to attend a conference other than a microbiology one.  As an instructor, I always tell my students that I am fascinated with organisms and objects that we cannot see with our naked eyes. Therefore, I was very excited to see how other people manipulated objects in the nanoscale level.
