Ensuring Transfer Success

I attended an in depth conference on the Counseling Professional Standards. This Conference allowed me to attain invaluable updates on newly implemented legislation and transfer requirements that I need to be aware of as a counselor.
I plan to implement such tools in my daily counseling and teaching activities here at GWC. One highlight of the conference was the interaction between the facilitator and the professionals in the field. Everyone had valuable input and this seemed to strengthen the delivery of the information.
A second highlight included being able to network with colleagues from across the country. Part to this conference included great tools to help GWC students explore different aspects of their career requirements.
Overall the conference was positive. I look forward to incorporate information learned into my practice at GWC.
